Our venue is located on the Eastern Florida State College campus at the corner of Post Road and Wickham Road at 3865 N. Wickham. Come rock with your favorite artist, party on the patio, or catch a Broadway play at our iconic venue.

Directions & Parking

King Center offers ample free parking, as well as limited number of reserved parking spaces available for purchase. Reserved parking may be purchased with your tickets.

Remembering Kris Kristofferson and the music he brought to the world. King Center VP and General Manager, Bob Papke, posted this remembrance of Kris Kristofferson: It’s January 19, 1989, and I’m working at the Warner Theatre, in Washington, DC, and we are hosting a benefit concert for the Christic Institute. Among the headliners on the show were David Crosby, Graham Nash and Kris Kristofferson. At dinner time, I walked into the Warner’s postage-stamp sized catering room to grab a bite to eat. There are probably 20 people squeezed into this space and one seat left…between Mr. Crosby and Mr. Kristofferson. Not wanting to intrude, I fixed my plate and headed to the door to eat in my office down the hall. Mr. Kristofferson looks at me and half-growls, half-laughs, “What…we’re not good enough for you?” I stammered something about not wanting to be in the way, and he says, “Sit down and eat with us…” So, I did, and proceeded to enjoy dinner with Kris and David, talking about what guys talk about along with the requisite jokes and trash talk. I even ended up on stage for the finale, singing along on, “Teach Your Children.” And as cool as that was, the highlight of the evening was dinner. It was a simple, human moment, but one that has stuck with me for close to 40 years. Thanks, Kris, for the meal, the laughs and everything else you graced us with.
